Twinkle, Twinkle Gaien Walk
Saturday, January 17, 2015, 5:00 - 6:20 p.m.
The Custodians of the National Stadium, Tokyo will organize a walk in
protest to the imminent stadium demolition scheduled to start later this
month. Please come join us in person or in spirit to express our love of
the dear old stadium.
The walking course is on streets around the National Stadium,
counterclockwise. Participants are welcome to join any time during the
above indicated time frame, for any portion or the whole of the walk. If
you come to the square in front of the Emperor Meiji Memorial Picture
Gallery (NW corner of the oval shaped park at the far end of the ginkgo
promenade) at 4:30pm and afterwards, the organizers will be there to
welcome you and give you a luminescent bracelet each so you can wear it.
Imagine countless many little lights glistening as the evening dusk
creeps on, forming a big circle around the stadium!
The organizers also would like to encourage you to log on to the ongoing
Yahoo survey site below to vote by choosing one of the four questions on
the stadium issue.

On this Japanese site, you will recognize four questions each headed by
a circle. The questions are from top down:
1. The currently proposed plan is fine.
2. The current plan should be revised again.
3. There is no need to build a new stadium.
4. I don’t know.
Check one of them in the circle and then the box at the end to send it
off.
The survey’s deadline is Sunday, January 18, 2015. The voting results
may be introduced in a BS Asahi TV program.
Thank you very
